Conservation
Deer Park residents care about protecting local habitats and biodiversity and so does Deer Park Parks and Recreation! The Department strives to promote recreation and education activities focusing on the natural habits in and around the City of Deer Park. Through a variety of unique outdoor experiences, our department looks to educate the community on the flora and fauna that we share in this environment. In addition, we look to provide information on how to preserve and protect our natural resources for future generations.
Here at Deer Park, we are devoted to providing outdoor space for our residents. Whether you’re interested in fitness or play, or just hoping for a bit of fresh air and sun, you’ll find it in Deer Park. For those who are interested in getting involved, we offer Adopt-a-Spot. Geared toward organizations and citizens, this program allows residents to care for a section of the community green space.
