Adult Softball Leagues - Registration for Adult Spring/Summer Softball Leagues begins in mid February. League play begins the first week of April.Call (281) 478-2050 for more information or to get on the mailing list for softball

Adult Volleyball Leagues - Leagues last for about 11 weeks with one week off between leagues. We play year round. Team entry fees are $130 per team for 8 league games and 2 extra playoff games for the top 4 finishers. You need 3 men & 3 women that you can count on and you are "set". Call (281) 478-2050 and get on the "volleyball mailing list" to receive future mail out flyers.

Art Park Dancers - Click here for the 2006/2007 Dance Class Schedule. Basic Dog Obedience Class – Teach your dog to come, stay, and sit. The class is held at the Jimmy Burke Activity Center, 500 W. 13th Street, on Tuesday nights. An equipment list is available to be picked up at the Community Center, 610 E. San Augustine. Register at the Community Center. The fee is $60 dollars for an 8-week session.

Community Center Preschool – Preschool is held at the Community Center, 610 E. San Augustine. The classes are for children ages 2 to 5 years old. There are classes that meet five days a week, three days a week or two days a week. Classes prepare young children for Kindergarten.

Gymnastic Classes – This class meets at the Jimmy Burke Activity Center, 500 W. 13th Street. Classes are held on Monday, Wednesday, and Thursday evenings.

Ladies Low Impact Aerobics – Great for all ages to get a wonderful cardio vascular workout. This class is held on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday mornings from 8:30-9:30am. The cost is $20 a month. Register and attend classes at the Deer Park Community Center, 610 E. San Augustine.

Martial Arts Classes – No equipment required. Classes are held at the Deer Park Community Center, 610 E. San Augustine and are offered on Monday and Wednesday evenings. There are different classes for different levels of karate. Cost is $20 per month for introductory classes on Monday and Wednesday evenings and $20 month for regular and advanced classes held on Monday and Wednesday evenings.

Pilates – This class is held at the Deer Park Community Center on Tuesday and Thursday evenings from 6:30-7:20pm. The fee for the class is $40/ month for 2 days a week or $20/ month for 1 day a week. This class is for anyone, any age and any size.

The S.A.F.E. Spot – Almost every Saturday night, the Community Center, 610 E. San Augustine becomes the SAFE spot, a secure place for children 9-13 to have fun with their friends. There are adult chaperones and a police officer on duty. SAFE spot is Saturdays from 7-11:30 and is $10 dollars per child. The first time a child comes, there is paperwork parents must fill out.

USA Tennis 1-2-3 – Classes are held on Saturday mornings at the tennis courts behind the Community Center, 610 E. San Augustine. It is $79 for a six-week session ages 5-12. This is a nationwide program designed to introduce children to the game of tennis in a pressure free environment. Registration taken at the Deer Park Community Center.

Yoga Classes – Held at the new Claude Burgess Recreation Center, 4200 Kalwick, classes are on Monday evenings from 6:45-7:45pm. The cost for the class is $49 per sessions with a possible 5 classes each session. Instructor Sue Harrity is a certified Yoga instructor. Registration taken at the Deer Park Community Center, 610 E. San Augustine.
