Police/Special Programs/H.E.A.T.

The Deer Park Police Department is participating in a nationwide program to Help End Auto Theft. If you do not normally operate your vehicle between the hours of 2:00 a.m. to 5:00 a.m., you can register your vehicle with the H.E.A.T. program. This program targets auto theft by allowing police to stop your vehicle and identify the driver during the above hours or during a border crossing. To register your vehicle, call the Crime Prevention Officer at 281-478-2000, Monday through Friday, excluding the holidays. The cost is a penny and you will receive a sticker to place in your back window.
