Engineering

Engineering Department – The engineering department is responsible for reviewing commercial project plans & subdivision plans for any proposed construction within the City. Engineering insures that all construction will meet City standards and ordinances. During construction of projects, the engineering department is responsible for inspecting the installation of all underground utilities such as storm sewer and water and sewer mains as well as inspecting any pavement installation for parking lots and streets.

The department is also responsible for designing in house projects such as City water line replacement projects, sidewalk and pavement projects as well as any other in house projects that may arise.
