City of Deer Park - Birthplace of Texas

The Public Works department is responsible for the planning, designing, construction and maintenance of the City's infrastructure. Our daily goal is to provide services that are fundamental to a high quality of life for the citizens of Deer Park. Public Works plans for and oversees City services such as  water distribution systems, sewer collection systems, storm drainage systems, refuse collection, street and sidewalk maintenance, water and sewer line maintenance, and maintenance of vehicles and equipment. The department also manages the residential and construction building processes including the rezoning and variance processes.  Public works touches every citizen in the City of Deer Park every day.
