Charles Garrison - Council Member, Position 1
Charles has been a resident of Deer Park since 1962 and has volunteered his time in several organizations with the City and the community in the various capacities listed below:
City of Deer Park
Served as City Council Member, 1981 - 1993; and
Re-Elected to City Council, May 1999.
Community
Member of National League of Cities;
Member of Texas Municipal League;
Former President of Kiwanis Club;
Former President of Deer Park Teenage Baseball League;
Former President of Board of Directors of the Harris County Appraisal District;
Former President of Gulf Coast School Business Officials; and
Former Treasurer of Lions Club
Charles is married to Sherry Garrison and they have five children and four grandchildren. Charles retired as the Assistant Superintendent of the Deer Park School District. Charles holds a Bachelor of Business Administration from North Texas State University and a Master of Education from Stephen F. Austin State University. He is also a Post Graduate of the University of Houston.
