This front nine commences with a lengthy but wide-open par 4 of 426 yards. A slight fade off the tee will set up a clear approach, but veering left off the tee, while a safe play, brings sand traps guarding the front left of the green into play on your second shot. Driving too far right though, can trap you among trees or large mounds. The green is narrow but relatively deep and protected by traps front left and back right.
