The layout opens with a 505 yard par 5, that swings from right to left as a lake borders the right side of the fairway. Aiming left of center will set up the hole well, but a drainage ditch left of the short grass also lurks. A big drive sets up a good risk/reward opportunity. A shot that attempts to find the green in two must avoid water on either side of the green as well as a wide sand trap that guards the front right. Laying up short and left sets up a good three-shot approach to the green.
