Dance Dress Code
Art Park Dancers Dress Code
Ballet / tap students ages 2 to 8 are required to wear either a black or pink leotard (any style) and pink tights. Girls will need pink ballet shoes and black tap shoes. Please use black elastic in tap shoes instead of ties. Hair should be up and away from the dancer's face.

Boys 8 years old and under should wear black shorts and a white or black t-shirt. Boys will need black ballet shoes and black tap shoes.

Jazz and hip hop dancers do not have to wear a leotard and tights, but will need dance appropriate clothing (no jeans). Black jazz shoes or black dance sneakers will be required for our dance recital in May.

Dancers 9 years old and up in lyrical, hip hop, ballet, pre-pointe, pointe, jazz, or tap classes are also required to wear proper dance attire, but not limited to black and pink. Hair should be up and away from face.

Dancers in technique class must wear a black leotard and tan tights with black shorts, capris, or jazz pants. Shirts or jackets are not allowed. Footwear allowed includes:
  • Dance paws
  • Footundeez
  • Illusions
  • Jazz shoes

Hair should be up and away from face.
