November 2016

During their regular meeting on Tuesday, November 1, City Council approved several items impacting ongoing Type B-funded projects including construction of the Dow Park Pavilions.

All items approved by Council had been previously recommended for approval by the Deer Park Community Development Corporation (Type B) during their last regular meeting on October 24.

After discussing the items during their workshop, City Council granted authorization to seek bids for a contractor to construct the Dow Park Pavilions, with an estimated project cost of $1.5 million. Council also approved agreements with CorWorth Building Systems, Restroom Facilities Ltd., and PlayWell Group for various aspects of the project including pavilion buildings and structures.
