Featured Friday Programs

The Featured Friday series was started in January 2015 to provide programs of cultural, historical and local interest to library visitors. It has continued to include an eclectic variety of presenters and topics. Many of the guest speakers are college professors and several of them have connections to the Deer Park community. Others have subject matter expertise or real world experience.

Upcoming Programs

  1. 1 Kathleen Maca, author, presenting in front of project for Haunted Galveston
  2. 2 Susan Phillips, Daughter of Bum Phillips, presenting Luv Ya Blue
  3. 3 Brady Hutchison, Professor of History at Alvin Community College, presenting to a full room
  4. 4 Barry Wilmore, Astronaut, in front of projector speaking about the International Space Station

If you're interested in previous programs, please view the Featured Friday Backlist.
