  • The municipal court accepts cash, cashier checks/money orders, American Express, Mastercard and Visa. You may also pay by personal check (with proper I.D) if your citation has never been in the warrant status. Temporary checks are not accepted.

  • If you have disposed of your case(s) prior to your scheduled court appearance date, you will not need to appear on your court date; however, it is your responsibility to confirm that you have properly disposed of your case(s).

  • No, you can represent yourself or retain an attorney to represent you. The municipal court will not appoint you an attorney. No person, other than an attorney, can represent you. This applies to parents of juveniles. If you are not an attorney, you cannot represent your child in a trial.

  • No, you must appear in person at the municipal court office to reschedule your court date prior to the scheduled court date.

  • Violations are on the Fine List by the statute in front of each violation on your citation. Please review the list of charges on the fine list or access your citation via the internet for the fine amount. If you need further assistance, call the court at 281-478-7238.
