  • If you find wildlife on your property, we're here to help.

For Birds, Squirrels, Opossums, and Other Low-Risk Animals:

If you can safely do so, wear thick gloves and place the animal in a box or carrier with a towel. Transport it to the Houston SPCA's Wildlife Center. This helps us ensure the animal gets quick care!

For High-Risk Animals (Bats, Skunks, Raccoons, Coyotes, Foxes):

DO NOT attempt to capture these animals. They may pose health risks. Call the Deer Park Humane Department immediately at (281) 478-7274 to ensure the situation is handled safely.

Your help in transporting low-risk wildlife makes a big difference! If you're ever unsure, don't guess—give us a call or visit the SPCA's website for more resources: houstonspca.org/wildlife-center/wildlife-resources

Thank you for helping us protect our community and its wild neighbors!
