The Comp Plan is a basically a 20 year plan, in such, the changes to Deer Park won't happen over night. Some changes could take up to 20 years to make happen, we are just setting out the plan of how we hope Deer Park will be one day. More parks, walking trails, landscaping along Center Street, moving utility lines, etc. But this is a great way for you to have a voice in how the future of Deer Park will be for future generations, including your children and grandchildren. Maybe you plan to retire and live in Deer Park for the rest of your life? If so then you should have a voice in what you want that future to look like. It is beneficial to the City, as a whole, to have citizens involved in this process.Public Works - Comprehensive Update
