  1. EMS Station Ribbon Cutting

    November 5, 2019, 5:00 PM - 6:00 PM @ EMS Station Adjacent to Fire Station #3

The ribbon cutting ceremony for the new Deer Park EMS Station is set for Tuesday, November 5, and the Deer Park community is invited to attend! The ceremony is scheduled for 5PM, after which attendees are encouraged to tour the facility with EMS leadership. The EMS Station is located at 1700 East Boulevard, adjacent to Fire Station #3. “This 10,000 square foot facility will be a new home-base for Deer Park EMS and a new home for our hardworking staff and volunteers,” Assistant Chief of EMS Andrew Smith said. “It will give us more cohesiveness as a department, with 24 City employees - as well as our volunteer base - utilizing the space. It means a lot to us as a department to have the City’s support for the creation of our own facility.” According to Emergency Services Director Robert Hemminger, the facility will include space for up to six ambulances, living spaces and amenities that will serve Deer Park EMS for years to come.
