Dow Park Pool is a seasonal swimming pool open in the summer only. The projected opening date for the 2026 season is May 23, 2026. Stay tuned for updates on hours, admission, and programming as we get closer to opening day!

- Dow Park Pool takes a safety break every hour. This means that we clear the pool at the 45-minute mark and resume swim at the top of the hour. Why does the Dow Park Pool have a safety break every hour?
- Safety breaks allow time (15 minutes at the end of each hour) for all patrons to take a break from swimming. This helps prevent fatigue in swimmers, provides a break for water and food and is a good reminder to use the restroom. It allows the lifeguards staff to verify that everyone is able to exit the pool safely.

- Senior swim is no longer offered before the pool opens, but we will have swim lanes available during operating hours.
