Important Reminders

Please note that the Dow Park Pavilions, Dow Park Splash Pad Pavilion, McHenry Park Pavilion, and Bayou Bend Pavilion are the only park space that may be reserved for parties. Dow Park Pavilion is the only park designated for inflatable structures (such as bounce houses) with proof of insurance. Any other amusements inhibiting park space must be approved by Parks and Recreation. 

Cancellation Policy

Cancellations must be made up to 48-business hours prior to rental date in order to receive a full refund. If the applicant cancels the event with less than 48-business hours' notice, no refunds will be issued.

Rules and Regulations

The following is a list of items not permitted at pavilion rentals.  Violators will lose rental privileges. 

  • Alcohol
  • Glass containers
  • Confetti
  • Colored powder
  • Fireworks
  • Inflatables that utilize water
  • Rental rides and rock walls

Quick Facts

  • You must book rental at least 14-days in advance.
  • When booking your rental, there will be a two-hour minimum.
  • You will have to pay for the rental the day you book it.
  • Accepted payment forms are currently credit/debit card only.
  • There will be a deposit (deposits vary on location), which must be paid by credit card at the time of the booking.  The deposit is fully refundable provided there are no additional fees or charges incurred during the course of your rental.
  • Your rentals time must include set up and take down time.
  • Building reservations can be made at the Dow Athletic Complex (709 E P Street) during business hours.
