Fitness Floor at the DAC
Take your workout to the next level in the state-of-the-art fitness floor at the Dow Active Complex. Whether you’re walking, climbing, rowing, or lifting, our space is equipped with the latest in cardio and strength training technology to support every fitness goal.
Cardio enthusiasts can choose from 6 Precor TRM 781 treadmills with 16" touchscreens, 2 stair climbers, 3 NuStep T6 Max recumbent steppers, 5 converging cross-trainers, and 4 recumbent bikes—all designed to keep you moving with comfort and variety.
For strength training, the DAC features an impressive lineup of Precor Resolute and Vitality machines, including leg press, leg curl, chest press, lat pulldown, and hip thrust elite, as well as versatile options like an adjustable pulley system, Smith Machine, and VERTICAL CRUNCH. Specialty pieces such as the Escape Fitness Freestanding Hub with battle ropes, rope pull, heavy bag, and landmine ensure dynamic and functional training experiences.
From traditional free-weight style machines to innovative performance tools, the DAC fitness floor is designed to give every patron—whether beginner or advanced—the tools they need to succeed.
The DAC has an accessible fitness floor designed for comfort and ease of movement. Equipment includes: NuStep machines, Recumbent bikes with swivel seats, Upper body exercisers and functional training cable systems.
Adaptable equipment is available upon request, and our fitness staff are trained in modification to help you customize your workout.
Indoor Walking Track
Step into comfort on Deer Park’s only indoor walking track, exclusively at the Dow Active Complex. This 1/10-mile track offers a safe, climate-controlled space where you can walk, jog, or stride at your own pace—rain or shine. With 10 laps equaling one mile, it’s the perfect way to stay active year-round while escaping the Texas heat.
Whether you’re looking to add steps to your daily routine, train for endurance, or enjoy a low-impact workout, the walking track makes movement easy, accessible, and enjoyable for all fitness levels.
Indoor Recreation Pool
Make a splash at the Dow Active Complex Recreation Pool—a year-round indoor space designed for fitness, fun, and relaxation. Whether you’re here for a workout, swim lessons, therapy, or just to enjoy the water with family, the Recreation Pool offers something for everyone.
With its comfortable environment and flexible programming, the pool is home to group classes, private lessons, open swim times, and rentals. It’s the perfect place to build skills, stay active, and cool off—all in a safe and supportive setting.

Pinecone Pals
Playtime for them, peace of mind for you.
While you stay active at the DAC, your little ones can enjoy their own fun at Pinecone Pals! Designed for children ages 2–7, Pinecone Pals is a safe, supervised play space where kids can explore games, activities, and make new friends. With a 1:5 staff ratio, you can feel confident knowing your child is well cared for in a small-group setting.
Parents must remain on-site during their child’s visit. Registration opens daily at 6:00 AM, and while reservations aren’t required, they are highly recommended to secure a spot. Pinecone Pals is available exclusively to DAC members and pass holders, with a two-hour daily limit (up to 12 hours per week).
